Economic injury disaster loan program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provided by the national Small Business Administration (SBA) agency, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sba.gov\/disaster-assistance\/coronavirus-covid-19#section-header-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program<\/a> is a low-interest loan intended to support American small businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With up to $2 million available per company, the goal of this loan is to help small businesses cover expenses like payroll and accounts payable during COVID-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Focused on giving small businesses time to recover, the repayment period can be up to 30 years and interest rates for the loan remain low at 3.75%.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be considered for this program you must not have any <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/blog\/sba-loans-covid-19\/\" target=\"_blank\">alternatives for credit<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To apply, you will need to provide your 2019 business <a href=\"https:\/\/www.method.me\/blog\/ultimate-small-business-year-end-checklist\/\">tax return<\/a> and 2020 YTD financials among other documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can submit your application for this <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/disasterloan.sba.gov\/ela\/\" target=\"_blank\">business loan here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-facebook-s-small-business-grants\">2. Facebook\u2019s small business grants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Facebook is pledging $100M in cash grants and ad credits to 30,000 small businesses around the world. The purpose of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/business\/boost\/grants?ref=eml\" target=\"_blank\">the initiative<\/a> is to help small businesses:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Cover rent and operating expenses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Continue to support and pay their teams&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Expand their customer base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-jpmorgan-s-small-business-resources\">3. JPMorgan&#8217;s small business resources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JPMorgan is putting forth $5 million worth of loans to help small businesses in the U.S. overcome challenges related to COVID-19. This loan program is focused on supporting small businesses through slower times as well as in the transition to remote work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The small business resources JPMorgan is offering include low or zero-interest loans and interest rate buydowns. This program is intended to help entrepreneurs of color as well as other underrepresented business owners.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-kiva-s-interest-free-loans\">4. Kiva\u2019s interest-free loans<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its commitment to helping small businesses survive the COVID-19 pandemic, Kiva and its lenders are giving <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kiva.org\/blog\/support-local-businesses-during-the-coronavirus-pandemic\" target=\"_blank\">0% interest loans<\/a> to American entrepreneurs. As a direct response to COVID-19, Kiva is offering a grace period of up to 6 months on loan repayment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With loans of up to $15,000 available, Kiva wants to help keep small businesses running across the country &#8211; even if their doors are temporarily closed.&nbsp;You can apply for your interest-free <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kiva.org\/borrow\" target=\"_blank\">loan here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-google-s-small-business-resources\">5. Google\u2019s small business resources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Google is offering <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/google-ads\/answer\/9803410?fbclid=IwAR2-POE868EmKJFZSsZ42YP5JKgwVSWRJDhaEPzx7Po2sxkpztdj4fWU4lI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$340 million<\/a> worth of Ad credits to small and medium-sized businesses to help stimulate their growth during COVID-19. Redeemable until the end of 2020, these credits are available to small and medium-sized businesses who have been actively advertising with Google since 2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to these credits, Google is pledging <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/inside-google\/company-announcements\/commitment-support-small-businesses-and-crisis-response-covid-19\" target=\"_blank\">$15 million<\/a> to non-profit organizations so they can provide small business resources and loans to companies in need.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-paypal-s-covid-19-support\">6. PayPal\u2019s COVID-19 support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PayPal, a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.method.me\/crm-quickbooks\/integrations\/\" target=\"_blank\">payment gateway<\/a> many of our small business customers rely on, is a platform that\u2019s ingrained into the small business community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recognizing this, PayPal CEO Dan Schulman <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.paypal-corp.com\/covid-19-paypals-commitment\" target=\"_blank\">has offered<\/a> its 300+ million business accounts alternative financing options as well as free professional consulting during COVID-19.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-the-coronavirus-stimulus-package\">7. The coronavirus stimulus package<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.method.me\/blog\/coronavirus-stimulus-package\/\">coronavirus stimulus package<\/a> provided by the U.S. Federal Government under the CARES Act offers American companies the following small business resources:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">$377 billion in small business loans and grants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">50% refundable tax credit on payroll during COVID-19<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Additional <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/anthonynitti\/2020\/03\/25\/congress-reaches-agreement-on-a-coronavirus-relief-package-tax-aspects-of-the-cares-act\/?subId3=xid:fr1585233697942ajf#76435dc55f99\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tax and interest<\/a> deductibles&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CARES Act is noted as the first wave of small business resources the U.S. Federal Government hopes to provide the business community with, as they plan to provide <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/after-three-coronavirus-stimulus-packages-congress-is-already-prepping-phase-four-11585483203\" target=\"_blank\">additional stimulus plans<\/a> to support business and economic development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-8-business-for-all-grants\">8. Business for all grants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Presented by Hello Alice and Verizon, the Business for All program supports small businesses with grants of up to $50,000.
